Map by Kirill Levchenko.

Okay, first of all, I am not responsible for any damage done to you, your computer, your family, your kidneys, etc. from playing Marathon and specifically the enclosed map file. Also, Bungie software is not involved in the making of the included map file, so leave them alone if your computer crashes when trying to load it; they are not responsible.

However this Map file is not supposed to crash, I've tested it, so it should work.

So, for those of you that read the Read Me! first, go try out the map file, see what you think. However be sure you have a copy of the original map somewhere nearby. (The easiest thing to do is to rename it right there by adding an extra character.)

So like, this is a cool map, what can I do with it?

Well, one thing that might be fun is switching your friends Map file with this one. April fools day is coming up

Did they pay you to do this?

No, I did it of my own free will. The company making the alcohol beverage is in no way involved and takes no responsibility for the map. This map file is not made to promote drinking, its just a joke. So don't drink and drive, okay? Just stay at home and play Marathon, and everything will be alllllll right.

Wow, seeing how cool map making is, I would like to make my own map now. How do I do it?

Easy, just get Pfhorte 1.0d6 (most recent version so far, 3/31/95). Also, grab MapEditingFAQ.txt, the text file that tells you how to edit maps and make doors and other cool stuff.

Where?

Both are available at ftp.amug.org, an anonymous ftp that has a whole directory devoted to Marathon! You might also find it at other places like CompuServe, AOL, etc.

So this map is free, right?

I can see you havent tried the map yet, of course it's free!

This is my first map file that I am releasing, I hope to make more. In fact, I am working on one, so maybe you will see more maps by me

Distribution. You can distribute this Map file freely, as long as people know that neither Bungie nor V&S-Vin&Spirit are responsible for this Map and that this map was created by Kirill Levchenko. So just include this text file with the Map if you distribute it.

Okay, I would like to thank all the people that made making this map file possible, including Bungie for making Marathon. Steve Israelson for making Pfhorte, the only map editor that lets you start from nothing create well, something Also thanks to Jonathan Allen for putting together the Marathon Editing FAQ, without it, there would be no doors, switches, platforms, etc. Also thanks to all the people that contributed to the Marathon experience by writing cool editing software (Physics Model Editor, Shapes Editor, etc.) and released it as freeware.

Any comments, questions, etc. can be sent to me at Kirill@madhouse.hi.net. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reach that place to check my mail in a week, so you can just try sending mail, but I dont know if I will be able read it. But please, do try. B-)

So how do I pass this level? Are there any secret rooms or anything?
